Eastleigh in Hampshire
How to Get there-
One can easily get to Eastleigh by flying into the Southhampton International airport which is located just on the outskirts of the village. You can also arrive via bus, train, or car if you prefer. The Village is the quintessential Hamble Valley city that brings its own unique character and charm to the surrounding area, and is often a favorite day vacation spot for many of the surrounding areas residents.
Things to do-
Because the city is located in the rolling hills of the English countryside, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. Most families enjoy fishing, camping, swimming, and of course the Lakeside Country Park for hiking and walking. At the city center is The Point, a contemporary dance and outdoor theatre. Regular dance and musical performances take place on the stage when the weather permits.
Indoor activities are available if you don’t mind taking in a bit of history while you are at it. Mottisfont Abbey is a gorgeous ancient abbey that has now been turned into a National Trust home for visitors to enjoy. You can also check out the Spinnaker Tower for panoramic views of the city below.
