Things to do in Ropley
If you are looking for a bit of excitement during your visit to Ropley then plan on visiting during Boxing day so you can take part in the annual boxing day walk or why not stop here on last bank holiday in day and enjoy a rip roaring time at the annual Pram race held each other.
Of course even if you can't make it to Ropley during one of these two highly exciting events the town may still be worth an afternoon visit simply to walk around the picturesque village complete with some of it's thatched cottages and it's 16th and 17th century buildings like Dover and Cromwell cottage and Fairways. St. Peters may still be worth a brief visit however, this once beautiful old historic church suffered from a major fire in 2014, leaving a scared semblance of the once beautiful building.
If you are looking for an exciting evening after dark in Ropley you will be waiting a considerable amount of time. Not only does this little village lack any dance or night clubs, it also seems to have a shortage of hotels, B &B s, and even quaint little pubs. While Ropley may not offer much in the way of excitement one can still have a lovely day, packing up a picnic lunch and exploring little charming village while vacationing in Hampshire.
