Hatfield Activities and Things to Do
Hatfield lies just north of London and is an affluent Hertfordshire town south of Welwyn Garden City. It is also known for many historical connections and has a surprising amount of things to see and do. If you are there and wonder why so many streets are named after aircraft it’s because the De Havilland factory once employed most of the town in its heyday.
Getting to Hatfield
Hatfield is within 20 minute of Central London by train. It is located within a few minutes of the A1M, M1 and M25 motorways and is also within a short distance of Luton Airport.
What’s on and Where to Go

Hatfield is a quiet place of an evening but there are some good places to enjoy a meal and a drink. There’s also the Odeon Cinema where visitors can see the latest movies.
