Of course if you are a couple on a romantic break then other peoples kids running wild may be a royal pain in the you know what, but its something to consider when going in the summer months. Each June, Folkestone has a world renown air show that is great fun for the whole family.
Folkestone Coastal Park, this is a great place to take the kids. It is located at the bottom of the zig zag path which is a great fun walk to take in its self. But the park has a ton of things for your kids to do. A huge pirate ship they can play in, slides, monkey bars and all other kinds of things that kids just love. There are also plenty of spots for you to have a nice family picnic. Or for you and your other half to relax while the kids are running wild on the park, either way is good!
Kidz Planet, the idea of an indoor kids play area on a nice sunny day is not for everyone, but if the weather turns then this place is amazing. It has all kinds of great play areas for your kids to have fun and there is even a nice restaurant where the adults can go to get a bite to eat while the kids are playing.
Sunny Sands Beach, is a place you simply must go if you are visiting Folkestone in the summer months. This is a gorgeous sandy beach which when you consider how close to London it is actually is pretty rare. There are many places close to the beach where you can enjoy a drink or some fish and chips.
Googies is the number one place you simply must eat at when you go to Folkestone. This pace is world famous and their burgers are regarded as some of the best in the entire world. there is a very vast menu which offers something for everyone.
