Some Great Reasons To Choose This:
- Great Night Out
- Campfires, camping and laughter
Our Wilderness and Adventure packages include one night in our private Cornish Woodland and a choice of adventure activity (Surfing / Coasteering.
The Wilderness & Adventure package typically starts at 4pm on a Friday where you’ll be met and welcomed by your host for the evening. (We can be flexible on what night groups wish to stay at the wild camp). We begin with an introduction / tour of our purpose built wild camp site, overview of what to expect and some do' & don’ts.
Once everyone is settled in, we begin with some light bushcraft skills such as fire lighting, which helps to prepare for the evening ahead. Once our camp and fire for cooking is ready to go we take some time to enjoy some woodland activities and relax in and around the camp. (Each group may request more or less 'in depth' Bushcraft if they wish). As the games draw to a close we'll turn our attention to cooking over the open fire - here the gang will need to allocate tasks to their group members and light their fire using one of the methods taught earlier in the afternoon.
Once everyone is fed the group are free to relax around the camp fire, roast marshmallows or enjoy a favourite drink. We provide large Bell tents equipped with mattress, sheets and pillows for customers to sleep in. They simply need to bring a sleeping bag and some warm clothes.
The following morning in we start with tea / coffee. For breakfast it's a bacon & egg sandwich before collecting yourself and heading off for the day ahead. This is included in the package price.
For Stag and Hen groups this typically means checking in at their accommodation in Newquay before attending their activity. The Wild Camp Experience is fully hosted by a member of our staff who is on duty through out the evening.
We provide large canvas Bell tents equipped with mattress, sheets and pillows for customers to sleep in.
