Photo Competition

While I hate relying on clichés, I feel I must lean on the classic 'A picture paints a thousand words' for the purposes of this competition. Everyone loves a good night out, and Stag and Hen do's are no exception. When done properly, the memories can last a lifetime. Or, if you're anything like us, they can be pretty much gone by the next day depending on how much you've had to drink! Photos can be a great way of putting together exactly what happened on 'the night before the morning after'!

The competition:

Let us ask not what GoBananas can do for you, but what you can do for GoBananas! Starting in May '11, to celebrate the launch of our new site, we're going to be offering monthly prizes for the best picture submitted by you from any stag or hen night/weekend you've been on recently.

To qualify:

The picture has to be of you/your group, whilst out and about, featuring an actual banana, in as creative a manner as possible. We're looking for humour and creativity as opposed to anything excessively explicit, as we do have to post the best entries!! We also have full banana costumes available for the stag or hen (or anyone else that wants one), and bonus points will be awarded to anyone wearing one of these highly fashionable pieces! What you can win:

Here's the good part! For all your hard work we intend to show our appreciation to you by rewarding you with one of our lovely special prizes. To one lucky winner each month, we shall send a customizable bottle of champagne straight to your door! You choose what gets written on it, and then choose whether to share it out, put it in your photo-competition trophy cabinet or save it for the imminent wedding as a gift!

How to enter:

Entering couldn't be easier! All we need you to do is submit your pictures to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for review, and then at the end of every month we'll announce the winners and put our favourite entries up. Remember to include in the email your name, the names of any (known) people in the picture, and a contact number we can reach you on should you win.
