Australasia is made up of New Zealand, Australia and Papua New Guinea and the surrounding Islands. Being stuck out in the middle of the Pacific ocean means that they have to invent mad things to keep themselves entertained. That's why if you see a mad extreme sport then there is a 90% chance that it was invented in New Zealand. This part of the world was designed for outdoor activities from the Great Barrier Reefs to the Fjords in the South Island.
