How to get to Aviemore
Aviemore is situated in the centre of the Cairngorm National Park and at the head of the Speyside Way, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
By car the route is via the A9 trunk road, which runs from Dunblane (off the M9) and runs right through to Inverness and then up to Wick. This is a truly stunning journey passing through some of the most breathtaking scenery you will wish to find in Scotland. Travelling this road is an unforgettable experience and well worth the driving time.
By train, the town is located on the Edinburgh – Inverness route.
By air, local buses link the main airports of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness, to rail or coach travel thus making Aviemore easily accessible.
