There may well be a town more geared up to party than "The Toon", but it's probably not in this galaxy. Newcastle is devoted to three things: going out, football and working in the public sector (that's a joke that last one!). The result is a town that's been pretty much built around bars and clubs with an exciting array of the stuff to in the daytime as well.

Newcastle is home to some of us here at GoBananas and a second home to the rest of us! We've spent as much time... err, "researching" (*ahem*drinking*ahem*)... in Newcastle than we have organising parties for everyone else.
