If you are organising a hen do then here are a few pointers to help you plan:

1. Don't try and please everyone, when organising a hen do, decide on a budget and stick to it, hens will drop out for any reason including cost, you can't please everyone. For the most part they will drop out anyway given any excuse, so don't worry about it.
2. Choose a few dates and email everyone on the hen list. Again not everyone is going to be able to make the hen do so choose the most popular date. The more time you give people to organise then the more chance you will get of getting people to come.
3. Choose a destination that's easy to get to, places like Edinburgh are good as they have Easyjet flying to it and are on the main train route. Book your tickets early to get great deals and cheap tickets.
4. Choosing activities for your hen do can be a minefield, to make it easy choose from relaxing, driving, water based, action based or all of the above. Again vote which the girls would prefer and just go with the majority. Another option is just to tell the girls that the hen do is going to be a complete surprise.
5. Finally and most importantly get a deposit off everyone so you can see who is serious and who is not. We would suggest a 20% deposit is a good figure and this means you roughly know many will be going.
