You can choose any 3 of the following activities for a great day out.
CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING
Clay Pigeon shooting will involve being taught the safe handling and use of the shotgun together with being coached by our professional shooting instructor to shoot various sporting targets using either a 20 bore or 12 bore automatic shotgun.
MUD BUGGIES
Seated low to the floor and harnessed in your buggy you will skid and wheel-spin over an expanse of grass and mud. As you put the pedal to the metal in these awesome machines you must try and stay on the track and catch your competitor. After getting to know the controls and then some practice we will set up mud buggy racing against you and your team mates with proper driver pit changes. Great fun and very competitive. Choice between single seater Geminis and 2 seater Rages.
QUAD BIKING
Take on the challenge of deep mud water pools and slippery descents on your 4 stoke quad bikes you will be accompanied by qualified instructors who will explain the bikes controls and riding techniques and give you practice before you embark on the quad biking trek up into the fells of Durham. BEWARE you will not just be riding around on a flat field prepare to be rather muddy!
ARCHERY
Enjoy the competitive spirit and find out who has the nerve to shoot the highest score demanding calm concentration a keen eye and quick reactions. Come and join us to find the Robin Hood hiding in you!
AXE THROWING
Go head to head with up to 5 people throwing at one time, starting off with the Mini Hawk Axes where most people manage to hit the target within 5 to 10 throws and then moving up to the larger Tomahawks.
What You Need To Know
- The full event will last around 3 hours in total
- Minimum age is 12 years to take part
- Helmets, overalls and gloves supplied
- Please wear sensible footwear
- In adverse weather conditions the right is reserved to cancel quad biking sessions - you will be offered and alternative activity
- Due to Health and Safety the activity site operate a strictly no alcohol policy. Any person arriving to take part in activities under the influence of alcohol or any person acting in a disruptive manner will be asked to leave.
What We Like About It
This is a great way to try out 3 different activities in one day! We love the quads and mud buggies and think that clay pigeon shooting is always a great activity to do on a stag do.
