Off Road Karting Birmingham
This is off road karting at its best. Can you just imagine the fun and excitement ripping round this gravel off road track outside Birmingham attempting to sneak past the leader on the inside of a tight corner.
The karts are top of the range off-roaders with big 620cc engines giving them an awesome power to weight ratio. Just remember that the lighter you are the better the acceleration before you start moaning that you have the "Slow Kart". The specially designed course is designed to extract the most out of bot drivers and karts- so be warned it can be tough!
Groups of 10 and above will have the track to themselves normally. The format for smaller groups is an open race. Allow about 90 mins for this activity which will include safety briefing kitting up track time and a presentation at the end.
Racing Format:
- In this rally event individuals compete to get the six quickest laps.
- Each driver has three races to achieve this.
- Awards are given to 1st 2nd & 3rd place
- Up to 5 x 620cc Rage karts will racing on the track at any one time (dependent on group size)
Racing is similar to regular karting except starts are staggered due to the size of the karts
Once racing is underway you can chase down and over-take other drivers. Lap times are measured by computer controlled timing equipment that allows you to track your position throughout the event.
